To reach Imbil State Forest from Noosa, take the local bus service from Noosa Junction to Nambour. Once you arrive in Nambour, transfer to the bus heading towards Kenilworth. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to get off at Sunday Creek Road. From the bus stop, walk approximately 500 meters down Sunday Creek Road to reach the entrance of Imbil State Forest.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Noosa. Head towards Noosa Heads along the coastal path, then make your way to the Noosa-Eumundi Road. Follow this road until you reach Kenilworth. Once in Kenilworth, find Sunday Creek Road and cycle for about 5 kilometers until you arrive at the Imbil State Forest entrance.
