Start at the Byron Bay Main Beach. Head south along the beachfront path towards Clarkes Beach. Continue walking along the coast until you reach the end of the beach. From Clarkes Beach, follow the path that leads you past the lighthouse and into the Broken Head Nature Reserve. Keep an eye out for signs directing you towards the Kings Beach walking track. This walk is about 3.5 km and will take approximately 45 minutes at a leisurely pace.

From Byron Bay's main bus stop, take the local bus service towards Broken Head. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the latest times. Inform the driver you want to get off at the Kings Beach stop. Once you get off the bus, follow the walking path that leads down towards the beach.
