Car
If you're traveling by car within Northern Rivers, head towards Iluka. From Byron Bay, take the Pacific Highway (A1) northbound. Continue on A1 for approximately 70 kilometers. Take the Iluka exit (C181) and follow signs for Iluka Road. Once in Iluka, navigate to H9Q5+X4, which is the location of the Iluka Rainforest walking track. There is free parking available at the track entrance.
Public Transport
To reach Iluka via public transport, take a bus to Iluka from the nearby town of Yamba. The bus service is operated by Clarence Valley Bus and runs several times a day. Once you arrive at the Iluka bus stop, it's a short walk (about 1 kilometer) to the Iluka Rainforest walking track. Head south on Charles Street, then turn right onto River Street, following the signs to the walking track. Note that bus fares vary, so check with Clarence Valley Bus for the latest pricing.
Bicycle
For the more adventurous, cycling is a great way to reach the Iluka Rainforest walking track. If you're staying in Yamba, you can bike along the scenic pathway that connects Yamba to Iluka. The ride is approximately 13 kilometers and offers beautiful views of the Clarence River. Upon arriving in Iluka, navigate to the walking track at H9Q5+X4. Make sure to wear a helmet and have a bike lock if you plan to leave your bicycle while you hike.
