Car
From Byron Bay, head north on Ewingsdale Road (B62) for approximately 15 km. Continue onto the Pacific Highway (M1) towards Tweed Heads. Take the exit toward Tumbulgum Road and follow the signs for Tallow Creek. After about 5 km, turn onto Tallow Creek Road. Follow this road until you reach the Tallow Creek area, which lies to the east of the main road. Parking is available nearby.

Take a bus from Byron Bay to Murwillumbah via the Tweed Coast, which operates several times a day. Upon arrival in Murwillumbah, transfer to a local bus service that goes towards Tumbulgum. Disembark at Tumbulgum and walk along Tumbulgum Road towards Tallow Creek. The walk is approximately 5 km, so be prepared for a scenic hike.
