    From anywhere in Northern Rivers, head towards the Pacific Highway (A1). If you are in Lismore, take the Bruxner Highway (B62) towards Ballina and then merge onto the Pacific Highway (A1) heading south. If you are in Byron Bay, take the Pacific Highway (A1) north. Continue on the Pacific Highway for approximately 75 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for South West Rocks (C2). Follow the C2 for around 30 kilometers until you reach the town of South West Rocks. Once in South West Rocks, turn onto Trial Bay Gaol Access Road and follow it for about 3 kilometers to reach Trial Bay Gaol, located at 73 Trial Bay Gaol Access Rd, Arakoon NSW 2431. Note that parking is available on-site, and there may be an entrance fee for visitors.

    If you are using public transportation, start by taking a train or bus to Kempsey or Macksville, as they are the nearest major transport hubs. From Kempsey, you can catch a bus service to South West Rocks. Once in South West Rocks, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you to Trial Bay Gaol, which is about 5 kilometers away.
