Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards Murwillumbah on the Pacific Highway (M1). Once you reach Murwillumbah, take the Tweed Valley Way (B62) and follow the signs towards Tyalgum. Continue on the B62 for about 15 kilometers. You will come to a junction; turn left onto Tyalgum Road. After about 5 kilometers, you will reach Tyalgum Creek. Look for parking areas near the creek or in the village of Tyalgum.
Public Transportation
For those using public transport, you can take a bus from Murwillumbah to Tyalgum. Check the local bus services like 'Tweed Valley Bus' for updated schedules and routes. The bus will drop you off in Tyalgum village, from which you can walk to the creek area. Be aware that bus services may not run frequently, so plan your trip accordingly.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can ride from Murwillumbah to Tyalgum Creek. The route along Tweed Valley Way is scenic but be cautious of traffic. There are bike lanes in some parts, but not all. The distance is approximately 20 kilometers, so ensure you have enough water and supplies for the ride.
Walking
For the adventurous, you could walk from Tyalgum village to Tyalgum Creek. The walking path is about 5 kilometers and takes you through beautiful landscapes. Make sure to wear sturdy shoes and bring water, as the trail may not be well-marked in some areas.
