Car
From Karratha, drive north on the North West Coastal Highway (National Route 1) towards Broome. After approximately 700 kilometers, turn west onto the Gibb River Road. Continue for about 200 kilometers until you reach the Mitchell Plateau turn-off. Follow the signs to Mitchell Plateau and then take the road leading to Little Mertens Falls. The last stretch will require a high-clearance 4WD vehicle as the roads can be rough. Be prepared for potential costs of fuel, which can be significant in remote areas.
