If you're starting from the Port Douglas town center, head north on Macrossan Street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Wharf Street. Turn left onto Wharf Street and continue straight. You will soon come to the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Port Douglas Road. Follow this road, which will eventually lead you directly to Four Mile Beach. The beach will be on your left side.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Port Douglas. Start at the main intersection of Macrossan Street and Wharf Street. Ride north along Macrossan Street, then turn left onto Wharf Street. Continue straight to the roundabout and take the first exit onto Port Douglas Road. This road will take you directly to Four Mile Beach, where you can lock your bike at designated bike racks near the beach entrance.
