Walking
From the center of Port Douglas, head southeast on Macrossan Street towards Wharf Street. Continue straight as Macrossan Street turns into Port Douglas Road. After approximately 3.5 kilometers, you will reach the junction with the Captain Cook Highway (A1). Cross the highway at the pedestrian crossing and continue straight onto Palm Cove Road. Follow the road for about 1 kilometer, and you will arrive at Palm Cove beach. Look for the beautiful palm trees lining the beach.

Shuttle Bus
From your accommodation in Port Douglas, check if your hotel offers a shuttle service to Palm Cove. If available, ask the reception to book a spot for you. The shuttle will take you directly to Palm Cove, which is about 10 minutes away. If you are not staying at a hotel with a shuttle, you can take the local shuttle bus service that operates between Port Douglas and Palm Cove. Catch the bus from the nearest bus stop on Macrossan Street, and ask the driver to drop you off at Palm Cove.

Bicycle Rental
Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Port Douglas. Popular locations for rentals are along Macrossan Street. After renting your bike, head southeast on Macrossan Street towards Wharf Street, then continue to Port Douglas Road. Follow the same route as you would by walking, cycling along the designated bike paths. The ride to Palm Cove should take about 15 minutes, and you can enjoy the scenic views along the way.
