Car
To reach Crystal Cascades by car, start from Cairns city center. Head northwest on Spence St toward Grafton St. Turn right onto Grafton St, then take the ramp onto Captain Cook Hwy/A1. Follow the A1 for approximately 15 km. Take the exit toward Redlynch Intake Rd. After exiting, turn left onto Redlynch Intake Rd. Continue on Redlynch Intake Rd for about 10 km, following the signs for Crystal Cascades. There is free parking available at the site.
Public Transportation
To reach Crystal Cascades using public transportation, start by taking the Sunbus service from Cairns Central Station. Look for the bus that goes to Redlynch; this usually operates on routes 110 and 111. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Get off at the stop for Redlynch Intake Rd. From there, you will need to walk approximately 2 km to Crystal Cascades. This walk may take around 25 minutes. Ensure to check the Sunbus timetable for the latest schedule and fare information, which is typically around AUD 4-5 for a one-way ticket.
Taxi or Rideshare

From Cairns city center, the drive to Crystal Cascades takes approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic. The fare is likely to be between AUD 40-60 one way. The driver will take you directly to the entrance on Redlynch Intake Rd.
