Car
If you're driving from Cairns, take the Captain Cook Highway (State Route 44) heading north. Continue for about 65 km until you reach Port Douglas. Once in Port Douglas, follow signs for the town center, and then take the right onto Island Point Road. Continue on Island Point Road until you reach the Trinity Bay Lookout at 48 Island Point Rd, Port Douglas QLD 4877. There is free parking available near the lookout.
Public Transportation
From Cairns, you can take a bus operated by Sunlover Holidays or a shuttle service to Port Douglas. The journey takes approximately 1.5 hours, and tickets typically cost around AUD 40-50 one way. Once you arrive in Port Douglas, you can walk or take a taxi to Trinity Bay Lookout. It is about a 5-minute taxi ride or a 20-minute walk (approximately 1.5 km). Head south on Macrossan St, then take a left onto Island Point Rd until you reach the lookout.
Taxi or Rideshare
If you're in Port Douglas and wish to reach Trinity Bay Lookout quickly, you can easily hail a taxi or use a rideshare app like Uber. The cost for the ride from the town center to the lookout should be around AUD 10-15, depending on traffic.
