Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, a good starting point is the Sydney CBD. Head east on Market Street, then turn left onto Elizabeth Street. Continue on Elizabeth Street until you reach William Street. Turn right onto William Street, and the Australian Museum will be on your left at 1 William St, Darlinghurst.   If you are within walking distance, head towards the intersection of William Street and Oxford Street. The museum is located at 1 William St, Darlinghurst. The walk is pleasant and will take you through some vibrant areas of Darlinghurst, with plenty of cafes and shops along the way. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the area can be hilly.
