    From Sydney Central Station, take the T1 North Shore & Western Line train towards Hornsby. Get off at the Wahroonga Station (approximately 30 minutes). From Wahroonga Station, transfer to bus 587 towards 'Turramurra Station'. Get off at the 'Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park' stop (approximately 10 minutes). From there, it's a short 15-minute walk to the Apple Tree Picnic Area. Follow the signs leading into the National Park, and you will find the picnic area on your left.

    Alternatively, from Circular Quay, take the ferry to Brooklyn. Once you arrive at Brooklyn, catch the bus 591 towards 'Hornsby'.
