Getting There

  • Bus

    If you're anywhere in the Sydney CBD, head to the nearest bus stop and catch a bus that goes towards Mosman. Look for buses that have routes like 244, 245, or 200. Once you board, stay on the bus until you reach the stop at 'Mosman Junction'. This journey should take about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic.

  • Walking from Mosman Junction

    After getting off at Mosman Junction, walk down Military Road towards the water. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Spit Road. Turn right onto Spit Road and walk until you reach the intersection with The Esplanade. From there, turn left onto The Esplanade. Balmoral Reserve will be about a 10-minute walk down this road, on your right at 8 The Esplanade.

  • Ferry

    If you are near Circular Quay, consider taking a ferry to Mosman. Board the ferry to Taronga Zoo, and as you approach the zoo, look for the Mosman ferry wharf. Upon arrival, you can take a bus (routes 244 or 245) from the ferry wharf to Mosman Junction, then follow the walking directions provided above.
