From Sydney Central Station, take the T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line towards Cronulla. Get off at Cronulla Station. Once you arrive, exit the station and head towards the bus stop located outside the station. Catch the 991 bus towards Bundeena and ask the driver to drop you off at Garie Beach. The bus journey will take about 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive, follow the signs to Garie Beach.

From Circular Quay, walk to the bus stop at Alfred Street. Board the 441 bus towards Sutherland and get off at Sutherland Station. From Sutherland Station, transfer to the 991 bus towards Bundeena. Request the driver to stop at Garie Beach. The total travel time is approximately 1.5 hours including the transfer.

Take a ferry from Circular Quay to Cronulla. Ferries run regularly and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Cronulla Wharf, walk to the bus stop and catch the 991 bus towards Bundeena. Request the driver to stop at Garie Beach. The total journey will take around 1 hour including the ferry and bus ride.
