Car
If you are traveling by car, start on the Mitchell Highway (A32) and head towards Bathurst. From Bathurst, take the Great Western Highway (A32) towards Sydney. Follow the signs for the M4 Motorway towards Sydney. Once you reach the city, take the exit for the Princes Highway (A1) towards Wollongong. Continue along the Princes Highway and follow the signs for the Royal National Park. You will enter the park via Garie Rd. The lookout is located within the park, and you may need to pay an entry fee for your vehicle, which is usually around $12 AUD.
Public Transport
For those using public transportation, take a train from your location to Sydney Central Station. From there, catch a train on the T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line to Cronulla. Once in Cronulla, you can take a bus (route 991) that goes to the Royal National Park. Make sure to check the bus schedule as it may vary. You will need to pay for the train and bus tickets, which can total around $15 AUD depending on your starting point. Upon arriving at the park, follow the signs to Governor Game Lookout, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.
