Hyde Park: Sydney's Urban Oasis

Getting There

• Train

  If you're starting from Circular Quay, head to the Circular Quay train station. Take a train on the T2, T3, or T8 lines to Museum Station. Once you arrive at Museum Station, exit the station and walk towards the north exit onto Liverpool Street. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Elizabeth Street, then turn left. Walk for about 5 minutes, and you'll arrive at Hyde Park.

• Bus

  From Town Hall Station, which is located at the corner of George Street and Park Street, catch bus number 461 towards Bondi Junction. Get off at the stop at Elizabeth Street near St. James Station. Once you get off, walk towards Hyde Park, which is just a short stroll away, located directly across the street.

• Walking

  If you are near the Sydney Tower, simply head south on Pitt Street until you reach Park Street. Turn left on Park Street and walk straight until you reach the end where it intersects with Elizabeth Street. Turn right onto Elizabeth Street, and you’ll find Hyde Park on your left after a short walk.

• Light Rail

  If you are near the Darling Harbour area, make your way to the Pyrmont Bay Light Rail station. Take the light rail towards Central Station and disembark at the stop for Capitol Square. From there, walk along George Street towards Hay Street, and then turn left onto Elizabeth Street. Continue walking and you will find Hyde Park on your right.
