Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the Sydney CBD, head towards Darling Harbour. Start at Town Hall Station and exit onto George Street. Walk south along George Street for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Harris Street. Turn left onto Harris Street and continue walking until you see the entrance to Darling Harbour on your right. Once you reach the harbour, follow the pathway along the waterfront. The Chinese Garden of Friendship will be on your left, at the corner of Pier Street and Harbour Street.

    Catch the Light Rail from any station along the route towards the Dulwich Hill line. If you're starting from Central Station, board the Light Rail at the Central Light Rail stop. Get off at the 'Pyrmont Bay' stop. From there, walk towards the waterfront, and then head to the left along the promenade. Continue until you reach the entrance of the Chinese Garden of Friendship, which is located at the corner of Pier Street and Harbour Street.

  • Bus

    Take a bus from a nearby bus stop that heads towards Darling Harbour. The 443 and 501 buses are good options. Get off at the 'Darling Harbour' stop.
