If you are traveling by car, start from the Port Arthur Historic Site, which is a central point in the Tasman Peninsula. Head northeast on Arthur Highway/A3 for about 5 km. When you reach the junction, turn right onto Safety Cove Road. Continue for about 2 km until you reach the intersection with Trentham Road. Turn left onto Trentham Road, and after approximately 1 km, you will find Time Capsule located on the right. Look for parking nearby as it can be limited.
Public Transportation
To reach Time Capsule using public transportation, you can take a bus from Hobart to Port Arthur. The bus service runs several times a day and takes approximately 1.5 hours. Once in Port Arthur, you can take a local taxi or rideshare service to Time Capsule, which is about a 10-minute drive (approximately 7 km). Taxis can be booked in advance or found at the Port Arthur Historic Site.
Walking
If you are staying at the Port Arthur Historic Site and prefer to walk, you can take a scenic stroll. From the Historic Site, head northeast on Arthur Highway/A3 for about 1 km before turning onto Safety Cove Road. Continue along this road for about 2 km, then turn left onto Trentham Road. Time Capsule will be about 1 km ahead on your right. This walk is approximately 5 km one way and may take around 1 hour.
