Getting There

Car

From Mount Field National Park, head towards the exit and follow the signs to the Lyell Highway (A10). Continue on the Lyell Highway for approximately 25 km until you reach the junction with the Arthur Highway (A9). Turn left onto the Arthur Highway and drive for about 10 km. Look for Snug Falls Track on your right. There is a designated car park available near the start of the walking trail to Snug Falls.
Public Transportation

If you're using public transportation, take a bus from Mount Field National Park to the nearest town, which is New Norfolk. From New Norfolk, catch a bus heading towards Hobart. Get off at the Snug stop. From the bus stop, it’s about a 20-minute walk to the Snug Falls Track. Follow the signs towards Snug Falls Track, and you will find the car park where the walking trail begins.
Walking

If you are already at the car park of Snug Falls Track, simply follow the well-marked walking trail that leads to the falls. The walk is approximately 1.5 km and will take you through beautiful Tasmanian bushland. Ensure you wear sturdy shoes and carry enough water for the hike.
