Car
To reach Bradshaw Rock Art by car, start from the town of Kununurra. Head west on the Victoria Highway (National Route 1) and continue for about 90 kilometers. Then, turn onto the Gibb River Road, which is unsealed and suitable for 4WD vehicles. Travel along the Gibb River Road for approximately 120 kilometers until you reach the turn-off for Port Warrender Road. Follow Port Warrender Road for about 30 kilometers until you arrive at the Bradshaw Rock Art site. It is advisable to check road conditions in advance, as some areas may be inaccessible during the wet season (November to April). Ensure your vehicle is well-equipped for remote travel.
Public Transport + 4WD Rental
If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Kununurra to Derby, which operates several times a week. From Derby, you will need to rent a 4WD vehicle, as the roads to Bradshaw Rock Art are not accessible by standard vehicles. Drive from Derby along the Gibb River Road for about 250 kilometers, following the same directions as above. Ensure to plan your trip ahead of time and verify the availability of rental services in Derby.
