Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, start from Sydney and take the M4 motorway towards the Blue Mountains. After approximately 80 kilometers, take the exit towards Katoomba/Great Western Highway (B59). Continue on the Great Western Highway for about 10 kilometers until you reach the town of Katoomba. Look for signs directing you to Wentworth Falls. Turn right onto Falls Road and follow it until you reach the Wentworth Falls Lookout car park. There is a parking fee of approximately AUD 4 for parking.

  • Public Transportation

    For those using public transportation, take a train from Sydney Central Station to Katoomba Station. The journey takes about two hours. Once at Katoomba Station, exit the station and catch the bus number 686 or 687 towards Wentworth Falls. Get off at the Wentworth Falls Lookout stop. The bus fare is around AUD 3.50. From the bus stop, it is a short walk to the lookout.

    If you are already in the Wentworth Falls area, you can walk to the lookout. Follow the signs from the Wentworth Falls train station or the bus stop.
