Car
If you're driving, head towards Lorne, which is located along the Great Ocean Road. From Melbourne, take the M1 highway towards Geelong, then follow the signs to the Great Ocean Road (B100). Continue on B100 until you reach Lorne. Once in Lorne, look for the signs for Sheoak Falls. The falls are located just a few kilometers south of the town center on the Great Ocean Road. There is a parking area near the falls, but be aware that it may be limited during peak tourism seasons.
Public Transportation
To reach Sheoak Falls via public transportation, you can take a V/Line bus from Melbourne to Lorne. Buses depart from Southern Cross Station and the journey takes approximately 2.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Lorne bus terminal, you will need to walk approximately 2 kilometers south along the Great Ocean Road to reach the falls. Alternatively, you can use a taxi or rideshare service from the bus terminal if you prefer not to walk.
Walking from Lorne
If you are already in Lorne and wish to walk to Sheoak Falls, head south along the Great Ocean Road. The walk is about 2 kilometers and can take about 30 minutes. Follow the coastal path; you will see signs directing you to the falls. The path is generally safe, but be cautious as it may have some inclines and uneven surfaces.
