Car
If you're traveling by car, start your journey from the town of Healesville. Head southeast on Maroondah Highway (B300) towards Yarra Junction. After approximately 20 minutes, turn left onto Warburton Highway (B380) and continue for about 10 minutes. Then, turn right onto the Mount Donna Buang Road. Follow this road until you reach the Ada Tree car park, which is well signposted. The car park is located at the end of the road, and parking is free.
Public Transportation
For those using public transport, take the train from Melbourne to Lilydale Station. From Lilydale, catch the bus (Route 685) heading towards Warburton. After about an hour, get off at the Warburton stop. From Warburton, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to reach the Ada Tree car park, which is approximately 15 minutes away by car. Be aware that taxi fares can vary, so it's best to check beforehand.
Walking
If you are adventurous and already in the vicinity, you can take a scenic walk from the car park to the Ada Tree. The walk is about 1.2 kilometers one way and takes approximately 30 minutes. The path is well-maintained but be prepared for some uneven terrain as you navigate through the beautiful forest. Ensure you wear comfortable walking shoes and carry water with you.
