Bus
From Bad Gastein, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located at the Bad Gastein Bahnhof (Train Station). You can get there by walking down the main street (Kaiserstraße) towards the station. Once at the station, check the bus schedules for the line that goes towards Heiligenblut. Make sure to board the bus that is heading to Grossglockner. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes, and the bus will drop you off at a designated viewpoint area for Grossglockner, where you can enjoy the breathtaking views.

Hiking
If you prefer a more adventurous route, you can hike to Grossglockner from Bad Gastein. Start at the center of Bad Gastein and head towards the trailhead at the end of Kaiserstraße. Follow the marked hiking trails that lead towards the mountain. The hike is challenging and will take around 6-8 hours, depending on your pace. Be sure to have proper hiking gear, plenty of water, and snacks. The trail will take you through beautiful alpine scenery and eventually to the base of Grossglockner.
