From Bregenz, head to the Bregenz train station (Bahnhof Bregenz). You can reach the station by walking or taking a local bus. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Rorschach. Trains to Rorschach depart regularly and the journey takes about 30 minutes. After arriving at Rorschach station, exit the station and walk towards the lake (the Seepromenade). The Sandskulpturen Festival is located at Seepromenade, 9400 Rorschach, just a short 10-minute walk from the station.

From Bregenz, take the bus line 40 (Rheintal) towards Rorschach. Buses depart from various stops in Bregenz, including near the train station. The ride will take approximately 40 minutes. Disembark at the Rorschach stop, which is close to the lake. From there, walk straight towards the Seepromenade; the festival is directly on the waterfront.

You can also take a scenic ferry from Bregenz to Rorschach. Head to the Bregenz harbor (see the signs directing you to the lakefront). Purchase a ticket for the ferry to Rorschach. The ferry ride takes about 1 hour and offers beautiful views of the Bodensee. Once you arrive at the Rorschach ferry terminal, walk towards the Seepromenade, and you will find the Sandskulpturen Festival just a short distance away.
