From Eisenstadt, head to the main bus station located at the Eisenstadt Bahnhof. Take the bus number 280 towards Vienna. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Wien, Stadthalle' stop. From there, you can transfer to tram line 2 towards 'Karlsplatz'. After about 10 stops, get off at 'Schwedenplatz'. Once you arrive at Vienna's Hauptbahnhof (main train station), transfer to metro line U1 (the red line) heading towards 'Reumannplatz'. After 4 stops, get off at 'Stephansplatz' station. From there, exit and walk towards the Danube River; Alte Donau is about a 20-minute walk from the Stephansplatz.
