Walking
From the main square (Haydnplatz) in Eisenstadt, head southeast on Hauptstraße toward the Eisenstadt train station (Bahnhof Eisenstadt). It’s about a 10-minute walk. Once you reach the station, take the train to Vienna, which takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Get off at 'Wien Mitte'. After disembarking, follow the signs to the U-Bahn (subway) and take the U3 line towards 'Ottakring'. Get off at 'Herrengasse' station. Exit the station and walk north on Herrengasse until you reach Schottengasse. Turn left on Schottengasse and you will find Palais Ephrussi on your right.
Public Transport
From Eisenstadt, head to the Eisenstadt train station (Bahnhof Eisenstadt). Purchase a ticket to Vienna (Wien). Board a train heading to 'Wien Hauptbahnhof' or 'Wien Mitte'. The journey will take around 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Vienna, transfer to the U-Bahn (subway) system. Take the U3 line from 'Wien Mitte' towards 'Ottakring'. Get off at 'Herrengasse' station. Once you exit the station, walk north on Herrengasse until you reach Schottengasse. Turn left on Schottengasse and Palais Ephrussi will be on your right.
