Public Transport - Bus
From Eisenstadt, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located at the main square (Hauptplatz). Take bus number 2 towards 'Eisenstadt Bahnhof'. After about 15 minutes, get off at the bus stop 'Eisenstadt Bahnhof'. From there, catch bus number 900 to Vienna. Once in Vienna, you will need to transfer to the subway (U-Bahn) line U2 at 'Karlsplatz' station. Travel towards 'Seestadt' and get off at the station 'Karlsplatz'. Then, transfer to bus number 24A towards 'Donaustadtbrücke'. Get off at the stop 'Moissigasse', which is a short walk from Strandbad Gänsehäufel.
Public Transport - Train and Tram
Start at Eisenstadt train station. Take the train to Vienna, which takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at 'Wien Hauptbahnhof', transfer to tram line 18 towards 'Burggasse-Stadthalle'. Ride the tram for about 15 minutes and get off at the stop 'Donaustadtbrücke'. From there, take bus number 24A towards 'Vösendorf' and get off at the stop 'Moissigasse'. Strandbad Gänsehäufel will be a short walk from the bus stop.
Walking and Public Transport
If you prefer walking, from Eisenstadt, make your way to the bus station located near the Hauptplatz. Board bus number 2 to the Eisenstadt Bahnhof. After this, switch to bus number 900 to Vienna. Once in Vienna, head to the nearest subway station and take U-Bahn line U2 towards 'Seestadt'. Get off at 'Karlsplatz', then transfer to bus number 24A. Get off at the stop 'Moissigasse' and walk to Strandbad Gänsehäufel, which is very close to the bus stop.
