Car
If you are driving from Salzburg city center, take the A1 motorway towards Vienna. Exit at Salzburg-Süd and follow signs for Gaisberg. Continue on Gaisbergstraße until you reach the Gaisberg summit. There is parking available at the top near the Aussichtspunkt Gaisbergspitze. Note that parking may incur a fee, typically around €5 for the day.
Public Transportation
To reach Gaisbergspitze via public transport, start at Salzburg main train station (Salzburg Hauptbahnhof). Take bus number 151 (Gaisberg) from the station. The bus will take you directly to the Gaisberg summit. The journey takes about 30 minutes and tickets cost around €2.50 each way.
