Car

Expect parking fees of approximately €2.00 per hour. After parking, walk towards Domplatz, where Mariensäule is located. The statue is situated directly in front of the Salzburg Cathedral.

Public Transportation

To reach Mariensäule using public transport, take the train or bus to Salzburg Hauptbahnhof (main train station). From there, you can catch the bus number 1, 2, or 3 towards 'Salzburg Dom'. The ride takes about 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive at the stop, it’s a short walk to Domplatz where Mariensäule is located, right in front of the Salzburg Cathedral. A single bus ticket costs around €2.00.

If you are already in the city center of Salzburg, you can easily walk to Mariensäule. From the Mirabell Palace, head towards the Salzach River and cross the bridge to the Old Town (Altstadt).
