Walking
From the center of Graz, head towards the main square, known as Hauptplatz. If you're near the Graz Opera House, exit the building and walk straight down the Kaiser-Josef-Platz towards the Hauptplatz. It will take about 10 minutes. As you approach, you will see the impressive architecture of the buildings surrounding the square, including the City Hall. Hauptplatz der Stadt Graz is located at Hauptpl. 1, 8010 Graz, right in the heart of the city.

Public Transport
If you are at Graz Central Station, you can take tram line 1 or 7 towards the city center. Get off at the 'Hauptplatz' stop, which is just a short walk from the square. The trams run frequently, approximately every 10 minutes. Once you exit the tram, follow the signs towards Hauptplatz, and you will be there within a few minutes.

If you are renting a bicycle, head towards the city center by following the designated bike lanes. From the Mur River, cycle north along the riverbank until you reach the main bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight until you reach the Hauptplatz. Parking for bicycles is available along the square's edges.
