Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Hauptplatz (Main Square) in Graz, head northeast towards the Herrengasse street. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with the Sporgasse street. Turn left onto Sporgasse and follow it until you reach the end of the street, where it merges into the Schlossbergplatz. From Schlossbergplatz, you will see signs leading to the entrance of the Schlossberg hill. Follow the steps or the designated path up the hill towards the Kriegssteig Schloßberg, which is located on the western side of the hill.

Public Transport
From the Jakominiplatz tram station, take tram line 1 or 7 towards the 'Graz Hauptbahnhof'. Get off at the next stop, 'Schlossberg' (the tram station is directly below the Schlossberg). Once you exit the tram, follow the signs to the Schlossberg and take the path leading to the Kriegssteig Schloßberg. The path will guide you to the upper sections of the hill, where the Kriegssteig is located.

If you are near the Kunsthaus Graz, head southeast towards the Mur River. Walk along the riverbank until you reach the bridge called 'Kaiser-Josef-Brücke'. Cross the bridge and head straight onto the path leading to the Schlossberg. Continue walking up the pathway until you reach the Kriegssteig Schloßberg, which will be on your left as you approach the summit.
