Walking
From the center of Hallstatt, head towards the main road (Landungsplatz) by the lake. Walk along the lakeshore until you reach the ferry terminal. Take the ferry towards St. Gilgen, which will offer stunning views of the lake. Once you arrive at the St. Gilgen ferry terminal, exit the ferry and follow the signs towards the Zwölferhorn-Seilbahn. It's a short walk of about 10-15 minutes uphill to reach the cable car station at Konrad-Lesiak-Platz 3.

From Hallstatt, take the local bus service that connects to St. Gilgen. The bus stop is located near the market square in Hallstatt. Catch the bus that goes to St. Gilgen, which will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in St. Gilgen, follow the signs to Konrad-Lesiak-Platz. The Zwölferhorn-Seilbahn station is just a short walk from the bus stop.
