Walking
From the center of Hallstatt (the market square), head northeast towards the lakeside promenade. Follow the promenade along the edge of Lake Hallstatt until you reach the Gasthof Zauner. From here, turn left onto the Müllerstiege path, which is well-marked. Continue following the path up the hill for approximately 15-20 minutes, enjoying the scenic views. The Hallstätter Wasserfall is located at Müllerstiege 32, where you'll find the waterfall cascading down the rocks near the path.

If you are starting from the Hallstatt train station, exit the station and walk towards the main road. Turn left and follow the road into Hallstatt. Once you reach the market square, follow the same directions as above, heading towards the lakeside promenade and then taking the Müllerstiege path to reach Hallstätter Wasserfall.
