From the center of Innenstadt, head northeast towards Maria-Theresien-Straße. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Rennweg. Turn left onto Rennweg and continue walking for about 5 minutes. You will see Hofburg Innsbruck at Rennweg 1 on your right side. The walk is approximately 500 meters and should take around 10 minutes.
Public Transport – Bus
If you prefer to take public transport, you can catch the bus from the nearest bus stop, which is 'Anichstraße/Maria-Theresien-Straße'. Board bus line 2 or 3, which will take you directly to the 'Hofburg' stop. The journey takes about 5 minutes. A single bus ticket costs approximately €2.20 and can be purchased at ticket machines or via the ÖBB app.

Another option is to take the tram. Head to the nearest tram stop 'Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof' and take tram line 1 towards 'Tivoli Stadion'. Ride for two stops and get off at 'Hofburg'. The tram ride takes about 5 minutes. A single ticket costs around €2.20, which you can buy at ticket machines located at the tram stop.
