If you're driving, start from the center of Innviertel and head towards the A8 motorway. Get onto A8 and continue until you reach the exit for the B145. Take the B145 exit towards Linz/Neustift im Mühlkreis. Continue on B145 for approximately 15 km. Once you reach Neustift im Mühlkreis, follow the signs to Rannariedl. The castle is located at Rannariedl 1, 4143 Neustift im Mühlkreis. There is parking available near the castle, but be aware that there may be a parking fee, typically around €2 per hour.
Public Transportation
To reach Schloss Rannariedl by public transport, start at the nearest train station in Innviertel. Take a train towards Linz and disembark at the Linz Hauptbahnhof. From there, transfer to the bus service (Bus 240) that goes to Neustift im Mühlkreis. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Get off at the stop named 'Rannariedl'. From the bus stop, it’s a short walk (about 10 minutes) to the castle, which is located at Rannariedl 1, 4143 Neustift im Mühlkreis. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as they may not run frequently, especially on weekends.
