If you are driving to Ochsenkogel, start from the nearest major town, which is Steyr. From Steyr, take the B140 road heading south towards Klaus an der Pyhrnbahn. Continue on this road until you reach the junction with the B138. Turn left onto B138 and follow it until you reach the small town of Spital am Pyhrn. From Spital am Pyhrn, take the L552 road, which will lead you directly into the Kalkalpen National Park area. Follow the signs for Ochsenkogel. Parking is available at designated areas near the trailheads.
