Public Bus
From the city center of Klagenfurt, walk to the main bus station (Hauptbahnhof). Take bus number 44 towards 'Rateče' and stay on the bus for approximately 40 minutes. Get off at the 'Rateče' stop. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk to Planica Nordic Centre. Head south on Rateče 167 and follow the signs to the Nordic Centre.

Bicycle
If you're up for a bike ride, you can rent a bicycle in Klagenfurt. Start from the city center and head towards the lakeside promenade. Follow the cycle path around Lake Wörthersee until you reach the town of Pörtschach. From Pörtschach, follow the signs towards 'Rateče' and continue cycling for about 20 km. The Planica Nordic Centre will be on your right upon entering Rateče.

Walking
Walking from Klagenfurt to Planica Nordic Centre is a long trek but can be done if you're adventurous. Start from the city center and head northeast towards the border with Slovenia. You can follow the signs towards Rateče. This will be a lengthy walk, approximately 25 km, taking around 5 hours, so plan accordingly and wear comfortable shoes.
