Public Transport
From Linz, take tram line 1 towards 'Linz/Leonding' and get off at the 'Linz Hauptbahnhof' (Main Train Station). From there, catch a train towards 'Český Krumlov' and get off at 'Vyšší Brod'. The monastery is a short walk from the station. Head southeast on Klášter street for about 1 km until you reach Klášter 137, where Vyšší Brod Monastery is located.
Walking
If you are close to the Danube River, you can walk along the riverbank towards the north. Continue until you find the pedestrian bridge leading to the train station. From there, follow the previous instructions for taking the train.
Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Linz and take the scenic route along the Danube River. Follow the bike paths to the Vyšší Brod area, which is approximately a 20 km ride. Once in Vyšší Brod, follow the local signs to reach Klášter 137.
