Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving, head towards Vienna from anywhere in Lower Austria. Use the A1 motorway and follow signs for Vienna. Once you reach the city, take the exit toward Inner City (Zentrum) and follow the signs to the city center. The House of Music is located at Seilerstätte 30, 1010 Wien. Look for nearby parking options such as the Parkhaus am Kärntnertor or the Garage am Hof, as street parking can be limited and may incur additional costs.

• Train

  For those using public transportation, take a regional train (S-Bahn or ÖBB) to Vienna's main station (Wien Hauptbahnhof). From there, transfer to the U-Bahn (subway) line U1 towards Leopoldau. Get off at the station 'Karlsplatz' and follow the signs for the exit onto Operngasse. Walk straight for about 5 minutes, and then turn left onto Seilerstätte; House of Music will be on your right. Note that a train ticket from Lower Austria to Vienna typically costs around €5-€10 depending on your starting point.

• Bus

  If you prefer to travel by bus, you can take a long-distance bus from various locations in Lower Austria to Vienna. Major bus companies like FlixBus offer services to Vienna. Once you arrive at the bus station in Vienna (e.g., Erdberg), transfer to the U-Bahn line U3 towards Ottakring. Get off at 'Stephansplatz', then switch to line U1 towards Leopoldau and get off at 'Karlsplatz'. Walk for about 5 minutes to Seilerstätte 30. Tickets for long-distance buses vary but are usually around €10-€20.
