Car
If you are traveling by car, take the A1 motorway towards Vienna (Wien). Follow the A1 until you reach the A21 and then merge onto the A1 towards Wien. Once in the city, follow the signs for 'Zentrum' or 'Innere Stadt'. You can park at Park & Ride facilities such as P+R Wien Hütteldorf, which costs about €4 per day. From there, take the U4 subway line towards Karlsplatz. At Karlsplatz, transfer to the U1 line (red line) towards Leopoldau and get off at 'Stephansplatz'. St. Stephen's Cathedral will be a short walk from the subway exit.

From there, you can take the U1 subway line (red line) towards Leopoldau and get off at 'Stephansplatz'. The ticket from the suburbs to Vienna costs around €4-5, and the journey takes approximately 30-60 minutes depending on your starting point. Once you exit the subway, follow the signs to St. Stephen's Cathedral, which is just a few minutes away on foot.
