The castle's construction features a shield wall, about 2.5 meters thick, made of quarry stone. This wall, though partially ruined, still stands about 2 meters high. The layout includes a rectangular structure stretching approximately 60 meters, with foundations suggesting a tower at the west end. A double moat and rampart system protected the castle's eastern approach. Historical records about Burgruine Möstling are scarce.
