Public Transport
From Ötztal-Bahnhof (the main train station in the area), take bus line 320 towards Umhausen. The bus departs hourly and the journey to Umhausen Feuerwehr (the fire station), the center of Umhausen, takes approximately 24-30 minutes. From there, it's a short walk to Explorer Hotel Ötztal, following signs for Gscheat. A single bus fare costs between €4 and €6.
Taxi
From Ötztal-Bahnhof, a taxi to Explorer Hotel Ötztal takes approximately 15 minutes. Expect to pay between €35 and €45 for the ride. Taxi services are readily available at the train station.
Driving
If driving from the Inntal Autobahn A12, take exit 123 towards Haiming/Ötztal. Follow the B186 Ötztal federal road to Umhausen. In Umhausen, turn right in front of the Hofer supermarket, following signs to Gscheat. The Explorer Hotel Ötztal will be on your right. On-site parking is available, sometimes for an extra fee of €1 per day. Keep in mind that highways in Austria require a vignette (toll sticker).

From the Umhausen bus stop, head southeast on Ötztalstraße/B186. Follow the signs to Gscheat, turning right where indicated. Continue straight until you reach Gscheat 14, where the Explorer Hotel Ötztal is located. The walk is approximately 2 km and takes about 25 minutes.
