Car

From the A12 motorway (Inntalautobahn), take the exit for Ötztal and follow the B186 towards Oetz. After about 4 kilometers, turn left towards Piburg. The road leads directly to Piburger See. There are two paid parking lots above the Piburger See. From the parking lots, it is a 10-minute walk steeply downhill on an asphalt path to the lake shore. Parking fees apply.
Public Transport

Take a train to Ötztal Bahnhof. From there, take a bus to Oetz. Get off at the Oetz Posthotel Kassl / Gemeindeamt bus stop. From there, it is approximately a 1-hour walk to Piburger See. Alternatively, take a taxi from Ötztal Bahnhof to Piburger See (approximately 10 minutes). Bus tickets can be purchased on the bus or via the VVT app. A single bus fare from Ötztal Bahnhof to Oetz is approximately €4-6.
