    From Salzburg city center, head to the Salzburg Hauptbahnhof (main train station). You can take tram line 1 or 2 from either the Mirabellplatz or the Linzergasse stops to reach the main station. Once at the Hauptbahnhof, purchase a ticket for the regional train (S-Bahn) towards Attnang-Puchheim. Make sure to board the train going to Mondsee. The journey will take about 30 minutes. After arriving at Mondsee train station, exit the station and walk towards the main road. Follow the signs towards the Pfahlbau- und Klostermuseum, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the station. The museum is located at Wredepl. 1, 5310 Mondsee.
