From Salzburg city center, head to the main bus station (Hauptbahnhof). Take bus number 150 towards Bad Ischl. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Get off at the 'St. Gilgen Ortsmitte' stop. From there, walk towards the lake and follow signs for the Zwölferhorn-Seilbahn, which is approximately a 10-minute walk.

From the city center of Salzburg, make your way to the Salzburg boat terminal (Schiffstation) located on the banks of the Salzach River. Take a boat to St. Wolfgang. Once you arrive at St. Wolfgang, transfer to a bus or take a scenic walk to St. Gilgen, which is about 30 minutes away on foot. Follow the signs to Zwölferhorn-Seilbahn, located at Konrad-Lesiak-Platz 3.
