Walking
From Salzburg Cathedral on Domplatz, walk directly west. Kapitelplatz is just a few minutes away on foot. You'll see the large square with the famous 'Globe' sculpture as you approach.
Public Transport
From Salzburg Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take bus line 1, 3, 5, or 6 to the 'Rathaus' or 'Ferdinand-Hanusch-Platz' stop. From there, walk through Getreidegasse, Alter Markt, Residenzplatz, and Domplatz to reach Kapitelplatz in about 5 minutes. A single bus fare is around €2.50.
Taxi/Ride-share
From Salzburg Hauptbahnhof, a taxi or ride-share to Kapitelplatz will take approximately 10 minutes, depending on traffic. Expect to pay around €12-€18. Note that the Old Town is largely pedestrianized, so you may be dropped off at the edge of the zone and need to walk the final few minutes.
