Note that parking fees may apply.

Once you arrive at the Obertraun stop, walk towards the Dachstein cable car station, which is about a 15-minute walk. Follow the signs directing you to the cable car.

Once at the Dachstein cable car station, purchase a ticket for the cable car to the Dachstein glacier. The cable car ride will take approximately 15 minutes. It is important to check the operating hours of the cable car before your visit, as it typically operates from 8:40 AM to 4:30 PM. The ticket price is separate from the entrance fee to the Rieseneishöhle.
