From the center of Gesäuse National Park, head southeast on B146 towards Admont. Continue on B146 for about 10 km. When you reach Admont, take the exit onto B146 towards Liezen. Continue for another 5 km, then take the exit toward Burgfried. Follow the signs to Burgfried, and you will find Burg Strechau at Burgfried 14, 8903 Burgfried. Parking is available nearby, but may incur a small fee.

If you're traveling by public transport, take the train from your nearest station to Admont. From Admont train station, you can take bus number 910 towards Liezen. Get off at the Burgfried stop. From there, it is a short walk (approximately 1 km) to Burg Strechau. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may not run frequently.
